❄️ 1. Refrigeration System Maintenance
Compressor Maintenance
Oil Level and Quality Inspection: Check the compressor oil level daily (it should be above the halfway mark on the sight glass). The oil should be clear and transparent. If the oil is dirty or discolored (e.g., blackened), replace it immediately. The first oil change should be performed after 30 days of initial operation, followed by subsequent changes every six months or after 1,000–2,000 hours of operation.
Operational Status Monitoring: Listen for abnormal noises (such as metal friction sounds), check if the exhaust temperature is normal, avoid frequent starts and stops (interval ≥ 6 minutes), and adjust the refrigerant supply and condensing temperature during seasonal changes.
Condenser Maintenance
Clean the fins: Clean dust and debris from the surface of the air-cooled condenser monthly to ensure proper heat dissipation; water-cooled condensers require regular descaling and cooling water quality checks to prevent blockages.
Fan and motor inspection: Ensure the fan rotates smoothly, bearings have no abnormal friction, and add lubricating oil or replace bearings as needed.
Evaporator defrosting
Defrosting frequency and operation: Check the frost thickness daily and defrost promptly when the frost layer exceeds 5 mm. Do not strike the ice layer with hard objects; use warm water or forced defrosting (electric heating/hot fluorine defrosting) instead.
Fan status: Ensure the evaporator fan operates normally to prevent poor airflow due to fan failure.
