Common components and functions of cold storage refrigeration system
1. Compressor: It plays the role of compressing and driving the flow of refrigerant in the refrigerant circuit, and is the power of the refrigeration system.


2. Condenser: It is one of the main heat exchange equipment in the cold storage refrigeration system. Its function is to cool and condense the high-temperature refrigerant superheated vapor discharged by the cold storage compressor into liquid.


3. Evaporator: The liquid refrigerant absorbs the heat from the freezer and evaporates under low pressure and low temperature, turning into gaseous refrigerant. The gaseous refrigerant is sucked into the compressor for compression and then discharged into the condenser for heat dissipation. Basically, the principle of the evaporator and the condenser is the same, the difference is that the former absorbs heat into the warehouse, and the latter discharges heat to the outside.

4. Liquid storage tank: Store refrigerant to ensure that the refrigerant is always in a saturated state.

 

5. Solenoid valve: One is to prevent the high-pressure part of the refrigerant liquid from entering the evaporator when the compressor is shut down, to avoid the low pressure being too high when the compressor is started next time, and to prevent the compressor from liquid shock. Secondly, when the temperature of the cold storage reaches the set value, the thermostat acts, the solenoid valve loses power, and the compressor stops when the low pressure reaches the shutdown set value. When the temperature in the cold storage rises to the set value, the thermostat acts, the solenoid valve is energized, and the compressor starts when the low pressure rises to the compressor startup set value.

 

6. High and low pressure protector: prevent high pressure from being too high and low pressure from being too low to protect the compressor.

 

7. Thermostat: It is equivalent to the brain of the cold storage, controlling the start and stop of the cold storage refrigeration, defrosting, and the start and stop of the fan.

 

8. Dry filter: Filter impurities and moisture in the refrigeration system.

 

9. Oil pressure protector: Ensure that the compressor has enough lubricating oil.

 

10. Expansion valve: Make the high-pressure refrigeration liquid expand and evaporate rapidly, absorb heat from the air through the pipe wall, and exchange heat.

 

11. Oil separator: Its function is to separate the lubricating oil in the high-pressure steam discharged from the refrigeration compressor to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the device. According to the oil separation principle of reducing the air flow speed and changing the air flow direction, the oil particles in the high-pressure steam can be separated under the action of gravity. Generally, when the air flow velocity is below 1m/s, the oil particles with a diameter of more than 0.2mm contained in the steam can be separated. There are four types of oil separators commonly used: washing type, centrifugal type, packing type and filtering type.

 

12. Evaporator pressure regulating valve: It prevents the evaporator pressure (and evaporation temperature) from dropping below the specified value. Sometimes it is also used to adjust the evaporator pressure to adapt to changes in load.

 

13. Fan speed regulator: This series of fan speed regulators are mainly used for fan motor speed regulation of outdoor air-cooled condensers of refrigeration equipment, or for cooling fan speed regulation of cold storage.
