As global environmental policies take effect in 2026, the replacement of low-GWP (Global Warming Potential) refrigerants has become an unavoidable direction for the refrigeration compressor industry. The new policies stipulate that the GWP value of refrigerants used in new compressors must not exceed 150. R454B and R452A have become the main alternative refrigerants, replacing traditional high-GWP options such as R410A.
